We are a growing, boutique-style Human Resources firm located in Barrie, Ontario currently seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to join our HR Dream Team! Providing a full complement of in-sourced human resources and health & safety services to our clients across Canada, we are looking for a dynamic individual who is looking to develop their recruitment and selection skills in a team environment that works hard and has fun!

Recruitment Coordinator

The position is responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment projects including developing strategies, pre-qualifying candidates, interviewing, coaching clients on how to conduct interviews and post-selection follow-up. This is a permanent full-time position. Key Responsibilities:

• Takes a lead role in full-cycle recruitment projects. Creates tailored recruitment strategies for a full range of positions within a variety of industry sectors.

• Full-cycle recruitment activities include but are not limited to developing job descriptions and job postings, posting job ads, conducting active searches, screening candidate resumes, arranging and conducting interviews, coaching clients on interviewing skills, conducting reference checks, administering candidate testing, etc.

• Maintains the applicant tracking system and develops client interview summaries.

• Works with the HR Dream Team to improve internal processes and discover new and innovative recruitment strategies.

• Responds to candidate and client inquiries and provides status updates while ensuring the highest quality of interaction at all times.

• Assists with other HR projects, as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field, CHRP considered an asset but not required

• At least 4 to 5 years’ experience in a recruitment and selection focused role.

• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet applications, etc.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a solid vocabulary, attention to grammar and punctuation and ability to conduct telephone and in person interviews

• Excellent client service skills

• Demonstrates a high level of integrity

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Excellent research, administration, and organizational skills

• Ability to prioritize and work on multiple client projects simultaneously

• Ability to take initiative and be proactive

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of pertinent data and information

• Knowledge of legislative compliance as it relates to recruitment and selection, ie. Ontario Human Rights Code
